Garrett County Solid Waste & Recycling will hold its 2026 Citizen Scrap Tire Drop-Off Event on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Garrett County Fairgrounds in McHenry.

Collection begins at 7 a.m. in the fairgrounds' upper parking lot, using the Mosser Road entrance at 270 Mosser Road. The event will continue until the containers are full.

Residents should arrive early, as the event ends when capacity is reached.
