Garrett County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Ricky Shawn Bowman, 43, of Oakland, on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office.

Bowman was taken into custody on the strength of a District Court bench warrant for violation of probation, the release stated.

Charges are allegations. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
