A rockslide around noon Saturday trapped two cyclists under a boulder near mile marker 87.6, in Ohiopyle State Park near Connellsville, Pa.

A 76-year-old woman from Florida died at the scene, the Fayette County coroner said. The second cyclist was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital with serious injuries. Firefighters lifted the roughly 1,000-pound boulder with air bags and freed both riders in about 10 minutes.

The GAP is CLOSED between Ohiopyle and Connellsville. If you're riding out of Cumberland this weekend, plan around it.

DCNR is investigating. Our thoughts are with the woman's family and with the injured rider.
