Good news tonight.

The Cumberland Police Department reports that 15-year-old Wyett Michael Kennell has been located and is home safe after being reported missing earlier this week.

Wyett was last seen around 3:30 PM on March 12 in the 300 block of Polk Street in Cumberland, which prompted police to ask for the public’s help in locating him.

Thankfully, the situation has now been resolved and he has been safely reunited with family.

Thank you to everyone who shared the information and helped spread the word.

Community awareness plays a huge role in helping bring missing people home safely.
