Garrett County Health Department hiring counselors and social workers
The Garrett County Center for Behavioral Health is hiring licensed counselors and social workers. Applications are due Oct. 27, and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment may be available.
OAKLAND, Md. — The Garrett County Health Department is hiring counselors and social workers for the Garrett County Center for Behavioral Health, and the deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026.
The health department is looking for clinicians who hold one of four Maryland licenses:
- LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
- LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical)
- LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor)
- LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor)
Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment may be available for those who qualify, according to the health department.
