Update: Salisbury Homicide Investigation
The scanner audio from the night of the call
As we reported earlier, Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death of a Salisbury man as a homicide. We've now obtained the actual radio traffic from that evening.
"Unknown-age male... possible cardiac arrest... after being choked."
That's what went out over the Somerset County scanner Saturday evening, Oct. 10, for a home on Chestnut Street in Salisbury, PA, just over the line from Grantsville. Within hours, it had become a homicide investigation.
Kenneth Wolf, 60, was found deceased inside the home. His wife, Wendy Wolf, 49, is charged with aggravated assault, strangulation and involuntary manslaughter. Somerset County District Attorney Thomas Leiden noted that the ongoing investigation appears, at a minimum, to be an involuntary manslaughter case.
