Western Garrett County is under a Wind Advisory until 11 AM Sunday, according to the National Weather Service office in Baltimore/Washington.
Forecasters say winds will be blowing from the east at 20 to 25 mph, with gusts that could reach 50 mph.
Gusts that strong can send loose items tumbling, so anything that isn't secured outside may go for a ride. The Weather Service also says tree limbs could come down, and a few power outages are possible.
If you're on the road, take extra care. The Weather Service says wind like this can make driving tough, especially in vehicles that sit higher off the ground.
The advisory was first issued early Saturday morning, with a start time of 8 PM Saturday. The latest update came out at 10:32 PM Saturday and keeps it in place through Sunday morning.
Across the state line in West Virginia, the same advisory covers western Grant and western Pendleton counties.
